I'm Dr. Lucian Blajan and I've been with Animal Medical Center of Saline since 2007. I took over ownership of the clinic in 2015. I completed my veterinary credentials at Purdue University and have been practicing veterinary medicine since 1989.
Veterinary medicine is constantly changing and there are new challenges everyday, but the joy of caring for pets and helping people is always satisfying. My primary medical interest is all types of surgeries with concentration in orthopedic surgery. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, playing tennis, and reading memoirs. My cat, Charlie, "rules the roost" along with my newest addition, Ginger. Ginger is a dog I adopted from the Bahamas in 2021.
My name is Dr. Michelle Socha and I have been working at the Animal Medical Center since 2005. I received my bachelor degree from Western Michigan University with a double major in biology and chemistry in 1996. I went on to earn my DVM from Michigan State University in 2001. I have been a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association since 2001.
I started my career in large animal medicine, mainly focusing on dairy cattle, horses, sheep, and pigs. Two years later, I went on to practice small animal medicine with a concentration in cats and dogs. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family! I also like gardening, camping, and many other outdoor activities. My allegiance belongs to the MSU Spartans.
