kids sports and activities.

I'm Dr. Lucian Blajan and I've been with Animal Medical Center of Saline for the past 14 years as a full time veterinarian. I completed my veterinary credentials at Purdue University and practicing veterinary medicine for the past 31 years.

Veterinary medicine is constantly changing and there are new challenges
everyday, but the joy of caring for pets and helping people is always
satisfying. I like working at AMC of Saline because of the people ( staff
and clients alike), but especially the pets. My primary medical interest is
all types of surgeries with concentration in orthopedic surgery. In my spare
time I enjoy traveling, playing tennis and reading memoirs. My cat, Charlie, "rules the roost" since I rescued him from our clinic about 10 years ago.

My name is Michelle Socha and I have been working at the Animal Medical Center since 2005. I received my bachelor degree from Western Michigan University with a double major in biology and chemistry in 1996. I went on to earn my DVM from Michigan State University in 2001. I have been a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association since 2001.

My love for animals and their well-being started at an early age. I grew up on a dairy farm in central Michigan. Along with dairy chores, I was always taking care of calves, kittens, or any other critter that came along. I then went on to volunteer and work at our local vet clinic many years later.

I started my career in large animal medicine, mainly focusing on dairy cattle, horses, sheep, and pigs. My life took a few turns when my husband and I started our family. We were blessed with triplet boys and a little girl two years later. I went on to practice small animal medicine with a concentration in cats and dogs. I have come to appreciate the relationships I have developed with my clients and their pets. I truly enjoy living, volunteering, and working in the community of Saline.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family! I also like running, biking, caning, gardening, camping, and many other outdoor activities. My allegiance belongs to the MSU Spartans and I am a avid Detroit Tigers fan.
